Unveiling the Audio Research Ref 330M

We are delighted to announce the opening of the Ultra Fidelis Seminar/Party/Event season of 2024/2025. Dave Gordon & Allan Haggar, long-time friends of our business and a pair of the true talents in the industry, will bring the Ref 330M Launch Tour to our house on Thursday, October 10.  Join us for our local unveiling of the gorgeous new monsters from ARC.

Utilizing 6 of the new KT170 tubes in the output stage, the amps yield a formidable 330 watts each, available on either a four- or eight-ohm tap.  Billed as “the finest amp ever created by Audio Research,” these beautiful brutes promise a listening experience that will leave you speechless.  The all-tube gain circuit displays a sonic personality that is simultaneously able to scale limitless full-range dynamic peaks while also revealing the subtlest of inner detail and delicate spatial information with the finesse of a small amplifier.  Truly the best of all worlds.
Details re food and refreshments to be announced, but you know we do it right!  A night to remember for sure!

AMG Viella Forte Event

The Big Analog Dog is coming to town!

And by that we don’t mean Garth Leerer or Ken Bowers from Musical Surroundings, instigators and importers of AMG turntables and Hana cartridges, two of our very favorite product lines in all the world of audio. Although they WILL be here.

Who’s the Big Dog, then?

That’s the Big Dog in the foreground there: the new AMG Viella Forte. With the Standard Viella in the background sans skirt looking a bit Giro-esque now by comparison.

We will have the entire trio of AMG turntables here, as well as Garth and Ken, for an evening of electromechanical delights and much good music.

Our friends at Charles E. Fromage will supply the food, and Stock House Brewing Company will provide some proprietary fortification to keep us steeled for the task at hand- good people enjoying great music.

RSVP required.

Perfect Vinyl Forever

Steve will discuss the general topic of record cleaning, in all its forms, not just his, and he will introduce you to Perfect Vinyl Forever.

You need to RSVP for either the 11:00 AM or the 2:00 PM session, and please bring two records - one that you think is as clean as it can get and one you think quite dirty, for a free application of the two processes on offer from Perfect Vinyl Forever. This promises to be a most interesting event.

Please call to RSVP.
